The D24 is a classic all-metal high-wing, two-seater. The fuselage structure consists of ribs and stringers covered by aluminum sheet, including the cabin. The wing is semi-tapered with variable and laminar airfoil, with fixed slat integrated in the airfoil for 70% of the span, fowler aileron and double-slotted fowler flaps in order to extend the flight envelope.
It's developed from the D18 that use part of the fuselage.
